Installation & Process Questions

How long does installation take?

Most residential installations take 2–4 hours from arrival to walkthrough. This covers removal and disposal of the old unit, new unit installation, all plumbing/gas/electrical connections, venting, and full startup testing. Commercial installs vary based on scope.

Do you do same-day installation?

Yes — we stock all of our most popular Navien and Bradford White units in our Reno warehouse. Depending on your location and the time of your call, same-day service is often available. Call (775) 261-8565 for availability.

Do you pull permits?

Yes. All installations are permitted and code-compliant. We handle the paperwork. You get a clean inspection record on your home or facility.

Do you haul away the old unit?

Always. Removal and responsible disposal of your existing water heater is included in every installation. No extra charge.

What brands do you install?

We are a Navien Certified Installer for tankless water heaters, and an Authorized Bradford White Dealer for traditional storage tanks. We chose these two brands because we trust them to perform for our customers long-term.

Will my home need any upgrades for a tankless unit?

Possibly. Tankless units require a larger gas supply line and different venting than a standard tank. We assess your existing infrastructure during the quote visit and include any necessary upgrades in the full project scope.

How long have you been installing water heaters?

Since 1993 — over 30 years. We've installed more than 15,000 systems throughout Northern Nevada and have seen virtually every scenario and challenge a home or commercial installation can present.

Can you install the same brand/model I already have?

Usually yes, though we'll recommend whether a direct replacement or an upgrade makes more sense given your unit's age and condition. We carry current Bradford White and Navien models.

Traditional Bradford White tank replacements start at a lower price point; Navien tankless installations require a higher upfront investment but generate significant long-term savings. How long does a Navien tankless unit last?

20 years or more with proper maintenance — roughly twice the lifespan of a traditional tank. Navien's heat exchangers are built for longevity, and their self-diagnostic system alerts you when service is needed.

What's the warranty on Bradford White tanks?

Varies by model — typically 6 years on the tank and 1 year on parts for residential units, with 8–12 year options available on premium models. As an Authorized Bradford White Dealer, we register the warranty for you at installation.

Do you service water heaters you didn't install?

Yes, for repairs and diagnostics. However, for full replacements, we install Navien and Bradford White exclusively. We don't install third-party equipment we can't stand behind.

What maintenance does a water heater need?

Annual inspection and flushing is recommended for tank units. Tankless units benefit from annual descaling — especially important in Northern Nevada where hard water is common. Ask about our maintenance plans.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Qualified customers can finance a new system at a low monthly rate. Ask for current terms when you request your quote.
